2-voudige TMF award winnaar Dio en zijn platenlabel-genoten Flinke Namen zullen vanaf dit najaar diverse poppodia door heel Nederland op z'n kop gaan zetten tijdens een gezamenlijke tour, genaamd "En Toen Was Er Licht", gepresenteerd en geproduceerd door hun gezamenlijk management DR.MEDIA, platenlabel TopNotch en boekingskantoor TopBillin'. Waar Nederland niet onbekend is met soortgelijke diverse podiumtours, zullen Dio en Flinke Namen de lat hoger leggen door voor een zogenaamde VIP-treatment voor hun bezoekers/fans te gaan. Dit wordt niet zomaar een tour, dit wordt ear- and eyecandy.

Als muziek en vermaak als belangrijk uitgangspunt voor een show genomen worden, dan is het niet vreemd dat Dio en Flinke Namen elkaar gevonden hebben om op tournee te gaan. De shows van beide acts staan namelijk al los van elkaar bol van de interactie en bijbehorende energie. Met de podiumervaring beiden hebben is er besloten om het publiek meer te bieden dan goede muziek allen; de naam "En Toen Was Er Licht" staat dan ook niet op zichzelf.

Met een decor van futuristische allure zullen audio en visueel een gelijke inbreng hebben tijdens deze show. Door te investeren in een nog niet eerder vertoonde lichtshow die volledig interactief is aangestuurd door muziek en impulsen van de DJ's zullen de fans iets voorgeschoteld krijgen dat op dit moment nog niet te definiëren is, ook niet in een persbericht. Het speciaal voor deze tour ontwikkelde systeem is uniek in de wereld en vindt haar geboorte in Nederland; "En Toen Was Er Licht".



Lasers, beamers en transparante lamellen.

Beide acts hebben er voor gekozen hun volledige gages en overige verdiensten te investeren in het unieke decors en de promo voor deze show. Zoals altijd willen zowel Dio als Flinke Namen iets neerzetten dat nog niet gedaan is, en de fans waar voor hun geld geven. De ? Toen was Er Licht?our valt niet per definitie onder de noemer muziek, het is kunst.

Tijdens de show zal Dio met name tracks van zijn album ?ck & Roll?en gehore brengen, Flinke Namen ?aagt voor?it ?perStuntWerk?Daarnaast hebben beide acts nog wat muzikale verrassingen in petto.

In Amsterdam I have my own 'The Flexican Society' and coming Saturday I have a party called 'Yours Truly' with, you guessed it right, yours truly!

Saturday the 9th of May at the Manhattan in Arnhem the party will pop off. I'm not alone on my very own night in the southeast of The Netherlands. I'm bringing my boys Sef and Dio. Jay-B and Nikolai Dimitrov will be there also. It's going to be a legendary party, so don't miss it!

Tomorrow night Amsterdam will go crazy and the party will gone on for 24 hours!
Queensnight and Queensday 2009 is here. Therefore I posted a nice picture of the queen.

I will be dj'ing at several places. On Queensnight I will be in Goes at 'Royal Republic' party from 22:00 till midnight. After that it on to Amsterdam. At the Odeon there will be a party named 'Koppig vs Eclectic Fantastic' and I'll be spinning from 02:00 till 03:00.

After some sleep, I will be in Amsterdam the whole day. Starting at the Marie Heinekenplein around 15:00 for a party named 'Apenkooi'. At 17:00 it's back to the Odeon where I'll be for an hour.

Damn, the week travels by so fast. The Top Notch Extravaganza was almost a week ago.
It was a great party. The vibe was right and the performances were great. Winne killed it, Salah killed it, Dio killed it and ofcourse Flinke Namen killed it.
Gino was hosting and funny as hell. It was a good night....

3 years ago, me and my two longtime friends Andras and Sef, decided to combine our musical skills. Now our project has a name, The Century. Our sound is best described as an incredible, big, fat, original, electronic tutti frutti of Breaks, House, Booty, Electro, Hiphop, Fidget, Dub, Pop and everything in between.

That is not the only news, we also started our own label, One Hundred Years. That way we can release our music the way we want and when we want. The first releases by The Century are 2 EP's: Blackbody Spectrum and Acid Party will be available on the 4th of April on I-Tunes. Later this year you can expect some more party bangers and of course there is an album with live, electronic and sample based evergreens in the pipeline.
